COLLEGE BASEBALL WORLD SERIES SCHEDULE
If you were “Bud Lite”, what thing (s) would you change about baseball? Is evey thing OK with MLB? Why not!?

Did the embarrassing one sided world series leave you satisfied?

Did FOX TV dictate a poor TV schedule, based on whrn their schedule was weak?

Why not afternoon games in the world series AND what’s wrong with Saturdays? Why can’t MLB world series stand up to college football?

Did the schedule maker doom the NL team?

Did the schedule maker at Fox TV set it up so kids (the next generation of sports fans) couldn’t see MLB world series?

Are you old enough to remember the buzz kids got out of day time MLB world series broadcasts???

Are some pitchers “human rain delays”. Football and basketball have time clocks. Should baseball enforce it’s own rules on “time between pitches”???

How? Is a clock too crazy!?!

I know a big buzzer would be weird! Should umps have a vibrating stop watch???

Or some idea you have.

What about the DH rule? How bout a 10 man batting order in both leagues including both a DH and the pitcher, so both leagues are OK unity?

I’ll go point by point.

01) Did the embarrassing one sided world series leave you satisfied? No. Unfortuanly, since playoffs are here to stay (I like the old rules when there were no playoffs and the best team in each league played in WS), I would get rid of the divisions and just have the 4 best teams in in each league play in the playoffs. It will give you better teams in the WS, making them more exciting and less lopsided.

02) Did FOX TV dictate a poor TV schedule, based on when their schedule was weak? Not when their schedule was weak, but when they thought they would get the highest ratings.

03) Why not afternoon games in the world series AND what’s wrong with Saturdays? Why can’t MLB world series stand up to college football? They should have afternoon games, they used to when I was a kid. There are reasons why baseball never does well against football on TV, even though baseball has more fans, but that will take too long to explain here.

04) Did the schedule maker doom the NL team? No thats just because the Roockies swept there play off games, so they had alot of free time. Every time one team does that and the other team plays 6 or 7 games, it’s the teams that had to play 6 or 7 games usuraly wins, those days off for the other teams are a killer.

05) Did the schedule maker at Fox TV set it up so kids (the next generation of sports fans) couldn’t see MLB world series? It’s short sided, they do it so the games start in prime time, but thats too late for the adults let alone the kids, and in long run baseball will have less fans because of it, because the kids are missing out and will grow up not being interested in baseball.

06) Are you old enough to remember the buzz kids got out of day time MLB world series broadcasts??? No idea what you mean.

07) Are some pitchers “human rain delays”. Football and basketball have time clocks. Should baseball enforce it’s own rules on “time between pitches”??? Yes enforce the 12 seconds between pitches. Some pitches take about 20 minutes between pitches, ok im exagerating but comeone they take forever, and the batters do the same always leaving the batters box. Games today are 3+ hours years ago when the times were enforced they were 90 minutes. That extra time is all the times the pitchers take to throw the ball and the batters fixing their gloves 500 times between pitches.

08) How? Is a clock too crazy!?! No baseball isn’t suposed to be played on a clock, just enforce the 12 second rule and the games will be 1/2 the time like they used to be.

09) I know a big buzzer would be weird! Should umps have a vibrating stop watch??? Yes set for 12 seconds.

10) Or some idea you have. I would go back to the way baseball used to be played, since the modern age of baseball. From the big ball parks again, to the proper strike zone, raise the pitchers mound, no DH, use the same bats and gloves like they used to. Baseball is about stats and because the game is so watered down today, it makes it seam like todays players are as good as they used to be and they arent. In the last 35 years there are maybe 100 baseball players thats would have even made the major leagues before 1950.

11) What about the DH rule? How bout a 10 man batting order in both leagues including both a DH and the pitcher, so both leagues are OK unity? I would get rid of the DH all together.
