What should I have in a complete set of baseball cards, series 1 and 2 Topps?
I bought Topps 2010 Complete Set: Includes Series 1 &2. Total 661 Cards. The set was factory sealed. I checked the Yankees that are in the set and there are only about 15. Am I crazy or shouldnt there be many more Yankees. There are a few nonsense cards that I didnt count. I was looking for the actual players from the 2009 season. I havent had baseball cards in a while so please help. Should I have more? Whats series 1 and 2?
The set doesn’t include every player. It only includes pretty much the starters (pitchers & position players), good middle relievers, the closers, and rookies. Also, there are 750 active big leaguers at any given time. And the Topps set contains 661 cards. So obviously there’s not room for everybody and you should not have more cards, the factory sealed set contained every base card (regular card) that it the set issued. And Series 1 and 2 are just the time that the cards were issued. Series 1 obviously comes out before Series 2. Series 1 contains cards 1-330 and Series 2 contains cards 331-660 (661 was an exclusive Stephen Strasburg rookie card that only came out in the factory set last year. The sets usually have 660, not 661.) I should also note that Series 1 and 2 are sold in separate boxes/packs, with the exception of the factory set that you purchased.
