How Do You Break In An Akadema Baseball Glove?
I have owned many gloves in the past such as Heart of the Hides and A2000’s, but my new akadema glove is giving me fits. When I squeeze the glove, it doesn’t close properly. What I did was I oiled it with Rawlings Glovolium and tied it up with a ball in the pocket. How long should I let it sit like this, or am I breaking it in wrong?
I do the same thing with the oil, but what might speed up the process is oiling up the glove, tying it up with the ball inside, and letting it sit out in the sun. The heat speeds up the process. Of course make sure you dont let it dry up, as the leather will crack.
