BASEBALL FRAMES

BASEBALL FRAMES
How do you make a frame that can hold a signed baseball along with a picture/baseball card?

I want to create a display for an autographed baseball where I include a picture or card of the player. I was hoping to make or buy a frame similar to the one in this picture.

You need to get a shadow box and mat, one that is deep enough to accommodate the width of the baseball. Either cut the mat yourself to fit the card/picture and ball or have a professional at Michael’s or a framing shop do this for you. Slip your card/picture into a mylar sleeve and then tape the sleeve to the backside of the mat. Somehow secure the baseball to the back of the mat as well so that it will not roll in the frame. When you close the frame, you might want to add “stuffing” (crumpled grocery bags, paper, bubble wrap) to the inside to keep the ball in place.
