Milwaukee Brewers Power Hitter- Prince Fielder

Prince Fielder is ‘the’ power hitter for the Milwaukee Brewers! This young player’s many accomplishments are memorialized in a new fine art sports print by nationally recognized sports artist Andy Goralski. Goralski was commissioned by Milwaukee Public Telivision for the annual auction to paint this extraordinary player. Because Prince Fielder is a fan favorite in Brew City and because very few players have acheived what Prince has so early in his career he was an obvious choice for MPTV’s fine art sports portion of the auction.

There has long been a rumor about Prince Fielder that he once hit a home run into the upper deck at Tiger Stadium at the tender age of 12. Prince often went along to practice while his father, Cecil Fielder was playing for the Detroit, Tigers. This is only a rumor as Prince himself cleared it up during a 2007 interview with Fox Sports saying it “just went over the fence”.  Already he was exhibiting the power that was to become in his own legacy in Major League Baseball.

This lefty slugger ranks second in the National League as of this writing for the 2010 season. It is my  opinion that he will be a shoe in for the Hall of Fame if his career continues as it has been. Fielder was the youngest player to date to reach the 50 Home Run Club which he accomplished in 2007. Fielder shares this exceptional honor with the likes of Babe Ruth (the ‘founder’ of the club), Willie Mays and Mickey Mantle, all Hall of Famer’s just to name a few.

Fielders other accomplishments include 2005-PCL Player of the Week Nashville, Baseball America Triple-A All-Star, 2006-Brewers Top Newcomer Award, 2007-Hank Aaron Award, All-Star, Player of the Month, Player of the Week, and Silver Slugger, 2009- Brewers MVP and All-Star. In 2009 he was the only player in the entire Major Leagues to appear in each of his team’s games. In 2009  Prince was the first Brewer to win the Home Run Derby.

Owning a piece of baseball history is easy! Sports artist Andy Goralski in cooperation with Prince Fielder has produced a fine art print titled ‘The Detonator’ depicting Prince Fielder batting another home run. Each print is signed by the athlete and Goralski. Get a piece of baseball history today at coleengoralski.com
