[ POLL ] Which American League and National League divisions do you think has the most talented baseball teams?
With the season winding down, I want you to analyze both leagues and tell me which division has the most talented teams from both leagues. My 2 picks are: AL – East, NL – West (was a tough one to choose)
American League:
A) East – Yankees, Red Sox, Rays, Blue Jays, Orioles
B) Central – Tigers, Twins, White Sox, Indians, Royals
C) West – Angels, Rangers, Mariners, Athletics
National League
D) East – Phillies, Braves, Marlins, Mets, Nationals
E) Central – Cardinals, Cubs, Brewers, Astros, Reds, Pirates
F) West – Dodgers, Rockies, Giants, Padres, Diamondbacks
AL East- You have the two powerhouse teams in New York and Boston. The Rays who were in it much into the year. The Jays can be competitive. The Orioles, well they are a work in progress, but with already some good players. (Nick Markakis, Adam Jones, Matt Wieters, Brian Roberts)
NL West- The Dodgers who have been great all year. The Rockies who have a lot of talented players, major depth and a streaky team, as we saw middle of the season. Giants can be a very dangerous team if they had somewhat of a offense, but their pitching has been great all year. Padres and Diamondbacks both aren’t having good years, but again they have some pieces to work with.
