what is the perfect blaster baseball card box for a 8 year old?
his bithday is on july 13 and he’s turning 8. he loved baseball cards and what blaster box do you think i should buy for his birhtday? 2009 upperdeck, 2009 topps, 2009 bowman???????
I actually like Upper Deck. To me topps is a little stale and Upper Deck just renew their license you don’t worry about them not making cards anymore.
Regarding which blasters is best to get, I would get any blaster that guarantees a hit usually a memorabilia card. My cousin which is about 9 loves getting the jersey cards because he thinks in it special and rare. Topps blasters has manufacture patches which are interesting but are usually of older player like Ripken, Mantle, Nolan Ryan etc. Upper Deck blaster has game used jersey card of active players right now. So it depends on how much he knows about baseball history. For the base card, the checklist is pretty similar.
I would avoid bowman, spectrum which to me is the worst product this year (and yes it is a UD product), and minor league products since most won’t recognize a lot of the players.
