Are my 20 year old baseball, football, and basketball cards worth anything?
I have topps 1989 Jerry Rice and rookie Deion Sanders. Fleer1990 Michael Jordan, Upper deck 1991 Emmitt Smith, Donrus(spelling?) 1988 Barry Bonds, Topps1990 Ken Griffey Jr. Donrus 1987 Curt Shilling, rookie 1989 Upper deck Barry Sanders and many more. They are good to mint condition. They have been in my album since I was 8 yrs old. I have looked at them twice in 15 yrs. Anyone know if they are of any significant value? Where can I sell them?
A lot of people have the same cards. Best way to get a rough estimate of what they are worth is to go to a place that sells magazines, and pick up a Becketts Magazine. Inside it will tell you, based on the condition of the card, what it is actually worth. A dealer or collector will generally only give you about 60% of the total worth. Best bet, if I were you, would be to look up the card values in a magazine, and ebay the cards you wish to sell.
